The GLAAACC Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) provides the Chamber with the resources necessary to ensure the success of their programs that promote the development, growth and expansion of African American-owned business enterprises. The GLAAACC CAB also assists in securing funds for the GLAAACC Education Fund & Foundation.

Committees

GLAAACC has various committees that work towards hosting seminars, programs, and events to educate the small business community as well as promote the development of African American business enterprises. Members are strongly encouraged to serve on a committee to gain the most out of their experience with GLAAACC.

Business Evolution Program (BEP) Committee

The Business Evolution Program (BEP) Committee advocates and promotes the economic growth and development of the African American business by developing business opportunities and business alliances. Additionally, the BEP Committee oversees all aspects of the GLAAACC Business Evolution Program.

Membership & Programs Committee

The Membership & Programs Committee grows, retains, attracts and recruits quality members for the GLAAACC organization and enhances its member benefits. The Committee is responsible for outreach to prospective members and the retention of current ones. Additionally, the Committee supports the goals and objectives of GLAAACC by planning and coordinating events, training and/or seminars that will benefit the GLAAACC membership. As well as strives to offer diverse business related subject matters, effective meeting formats and relevant educational opportunities to promote the personal, professional and economic advancement of the GLAAACC membership.

Procurement Committee

The Procurement Committee influences policies, regulation and legislation that assists and promotes economic development, job creation, business growth and financial success for its chamber members. This committee supports our efforts related to economic development, procurement and public policy/small business legislation. This committee is also responsible for town hall events.
