Business Development

GLAAACC aggressively works within the mainstream to secure and maintain open opportunities and support of African American owned businesses.

Chamber Referrals
The Chamber receives many inquiries and makes frequent direct and indirect referrals to our members each year.

Ambassador Program
GLAAACC’s Ambassador Program is made up of member volunteers who educate and involve other members in Chamber programs and services to maximize their membership investments.  They not only encourage members to take advantage of the business development opportunities offered by GLAAACC, but they encourage non-members to join.  Additionally, the GLAAACC Ambassadors greet attendees at Chamber events.  The benefits of being a GLAAACC Ambassador include actively extending their business networks; achieving professional recognition for individuals and their companies; and expanded communication and marketing skills.  Businesses benefit when employees act as ambassadors, increasing their visibility in the Los Angeles business community.

Quarterly Membership Mixers
Each quarter GLAAACC coordinates networking opportunities for members, associates, legislators and their representatives to network in a business setting at our Spring, Summer & Holiday Membership Mixers.  The mixers are generally held at a Downtown Los Angeles venue.  Vendor tabletop displays are available at some mixers.

GLAAACC in the A.M.
In addition to the quarterly GLAAACC Membership Mixer, the Chamber also hosts morning networking events called GLAAACC in the A.M.  At each GLAAACC in the A.M. there is a guest speaker who addresses our guests on business related issues and opportunities.  These networking events are open to Chamber members and associates.

Committee Events
As a result of the GLAAACC committee meetings, various seminars, trainings, roundtables and events are developed to assist and benefit the Chamber membership.
